Going from Cusco to Machu Picchu in a day is relatively easy, the express tour usually starts early in the morning, at around 4:30 am. After guides pick you up at your hotel the Machu Picchu Day Trip From Cusco group will head to Ollantaytambo to take the train to Aguas Calientes. After around 2 hours the train will arrive and we can board the shuttle to the main entrance and begin the tour from Cusco. The guided excursion lasts around 2 hours in total.
